Kasrah: The sound is (in), marked by a double Kasrah under the letter (e.g.. تٍ tin).
Dhamma: The sound is (un), marked by a double Dhamma above the letter (e.g.. تٌ Tuun).
Nun Al-Sakinah and Tanween have four rules which are Idhaar, Idgham, Iqlab, and Ikhfaa.
2. Meem Al Sakinah (مْ)
Meem Al-Sakinah is the letter “meem” with sukoon, creating a “mm” sound. It has three rules: Idhaar As-Shafawi, Idgham Al-Mithlayn, and Ikhfaa As-Shafawi.

Qalqalah means “ shaking “ or “ vibration “ of specific Arabic letters. It refers to the echoing sound proceeding in a state of sukoon, whether they occur in the middle or at the end of the word. The Qalqalah letters include Qaf (ق), Ta (ط), Ba (ب), Jeem (ج), and Dal (د).
5. Prolongation (Al-Madd)
Al-Madd means the “ elongation “ and “ stretching “ of certain letters during Quranic recitation. This elongation is crucial for the recitation. It occurs with three letters Alif(ا), Ya (ي), and Waw (و). Types of Madd are varies there are:
