Many students know the Arabic letters but still read slowly, pause in the middle of words or feel nervous when asked to read aloud. The Online Quran Reading Course is designed for exactly this stage: turning basic knowledge into fluent, accurate reading.

Your tutor listens to you read in every lesson, corrects mistakes on the spot and gives you focused practice, so your reading becomes steadier week after week.

What You Will Learn

  • Reading directly from the Uthmani script of the Mushaf
  • Recognising letters in all positions without hesitation
  • Correct vowels, sukoon, shaddah and tanween
  • Lengthening (madd) in the right places
  • Where to stop and where to continue
  • Building speed without losing accuracy

Who Is This Course For?

The course is for children and adults who have finished the Qaida or know the alphabet, but are not yet comfortable reading full pages. It is also a good fit for anyone who learned in childhood and wants to refresh their reading.

How the Classes Work

Each private lesson has three parts: a quick review of the previous portion, guided reading of a new portion with correction, and a short task to practise before the next class. Progress is recorded so you and your tutor can see how many pages you have covered.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this course different from a Tajweed course?
Yes. Here the main goal is fluent and correct reading. Basic Tajweed is applied as you read, while the full theory of the rules is covered in our Tajweed courses.

How much should I practise between classes?
Ten to fifteen minutes a day is enough for most students and makes a clear difference to fluency.

Can my child join this course?
Yes, as long as the child already knows the letters. Otherwise we recommend starting with the Noorani Qaida.
